Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga is a powerful form of modern yoga that aims to awaken the dormant Kundalini energy at the root of the human spine. This practice makes use of postures, pranayama, other forms of meditation and mantras to promote spirituality and self-realization.
Kundalini yoga aims to bring this submerged energy into consciousness and allow it to move up through the chakras or power points in the human body, which are located along the spine. To stimulate this flow of energy, practitioners use various methods, including physical actions, procedures performed in accordance with prescribed breathing cycles, and a course of directed thought called active imagination.
Many also call it the ‘yoga of awareness” This type of yoga aims to create a deeper connection between the self and the wholeness of the universe. This promotes contact with one’s own wholeness and at the same time brings calm to one’s feelings. For this reason, it can be practiced by both beginners and advanced practitioners and brings many benefits, both physically and mentally, such as greater freedom of movement, calmness and imagination.
To summarize, the practice of Kundalini Yoga can be considered a healing tool as it enables practitioners or students to become the best versions of themselves and evolve spiritually. For more details and steps to understanding Kundalini Yoga, please see the attached eBook below.

Power Yoga
Power Yoga is a powerful, dynamic exercise that emphasizes flexibility and endurance as well as strength. It is fundamentally different from classical yoga: it is a practice guide based on synchronizing breathing with a powerful series of postures; this process creates a continuous flow of energy.
This form of Ashtanga Yoga is less rigid and can be designed so that the class can engage and appeal to students of all levels. This practice challenges the body while increasing awareness. It includes standing and seated postures, backbends and inversions. All of this contributes to cardiovascular health, strength and endurance. It also clears the mind and opens the inner self to calm: a well-rounded practice for body and mind.
Bhakti Yoga
Bhakti Yoga is one of the four main paths of yoga, along with Karma Yoga (path of action), Jnana Yoga (path of knowledge) and Raja Yoga (path of meditation). Originating from the ancient Indian spiritual tradition, bhakti Yoga emphasizes devotion and love for a personal deity or god.
The term “bhakti” is derived from “bhaj”,” a Sanskrit root meaning “to serve” or “to worship”.” This path is rather simpler and attractive to people who are somewhat put off by the intellectual rigor that Jnana Yoga demands or the discipline that Karma Yoga requires. You can read in detail about this practice in the e-book provided below, if it suits your style of practice you can adopt it into your lifestyle.
Choose a Yoga Practice and Follow the Instructions Step by Step.
Identify Your Goals
Decide what you want from a yoga practice. Do you need to focus on your flexibility, or do you need yoga that strengthens you? Are you trying to reduce stress or keep your spiritual well-being alive and strong? Once you are clear about your goals, you can find out which types of yoga are best suited to you.
Explore Different Styles of Yoga
Hatha yoga is very impressive for beginners working with the basic postures. Vinyasa offers a better flow, while Yin is perfect for deep stretching and relaxation. Kundalini is more about energy and awakening the spirits, and Ashtanga is very intense and physically demanding.
Assess Your Physical Fitness
Assess your current physical fitness and see if there are any limitations. For example, if you have an injury, then something gentle like Iyengar, where props are helpful, or more restorative yoga, which is strong on relaxation and healing, would be most suitable.
Think about Your Lifestyle and Schedule
How much time can you realistically allow in your life for yoga? Some styles, such as Ashtanga or Bikram, require much more time than others, such as gentle or restorative yoga. Think about your lifestyle and plan accordingly.
Organization
Think about how much time you can dedicate to practicing yoga each week. An example of such styles is Ashtanga or Bikram, which will take up a large chunk of your time, while some others like Gentle or Restorative Yoga can fit into a busier schedule.
Do local rounds
Look for a yoga studio or class in your area. Most studios offer classes for newbies or beginners with different styles, so try out and experiment.
Consider the online classes
If you do not have enough time to attend classes in person or have fewer options locally, you can also take online classes. There are various platforms where you can find many types of yoga and good teachers. This can give you the flexibility you are looking for.
Attend a Taster Class
Attend a trial class in the style that interests you the most before you fully commit to it.
Assess the Instructor:
The teaching style of the yoga instructor is an important factor in deciding on a yoga method. Choose the teacher after carefully evaluating their methods and stick with them for a long time to see the results.
Seek Community and Support
Try to find a community for yoga and meditation. Because belonging to a community that is warm and supportive can enrich your yoga journey.
Enjoy the Journey
Yoga is a practice that requires dedication and patience. If you give it your full effort, you will eventually discover the method that best suits your preferences. Most importantly, focus on enjoying the process, as it will lift your spirits and set the stage for a healthier, more fulfilling life.
